I think many listeners will find that returning (or hearing for the first time) this early Olga album will be a real pleasure, especially if you have been listening to her more ho-hum recent albums. All the outstanding hallmarks of Olga’s singing are here: her versatility, her ability to inahbit a song, and a flexible voice that changes is timbre and style. Girlish in the opening Contigo o Sin Ti, she is a litte more viper like in Muchacho Malo.

The highlight of the album is Vendras Llorando which is also a great video. A couple of the songs are weak, but overall Mujer de Fuego, Olga’s second album, is one of her most enjoyable.
